Assistant Project Manager - Fayetteville, NC
A leading healthcare builder is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a major $70M new-build project at Cape Fear Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. Reporting through the Wilmington team structure, this role is ideal for an APM with experience in healthcare or similarly technical, large‑scale environments who is ready to take on a high‑visibility project.

Description
- Support the Project Manager in delivering a $70M new‑build healthcare facility at Cape Fear Medical Center
- Assist with project documentation, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
- Maintain RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and tracking logs
- Coordinate with field teams, design partners, and subcontractors
- Ensure safety, quality, and schedule goals are supported throughout the project
- Work closely with the Wilmington‑based leadership and operational team
Profile
A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:
- Experience on healthcare or other large‑scale technical projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Tech‑savvy with ability to manage digital documentation and project workflows
- Motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working on a high‑profile build
- Team player who can support both office and field operations
Job Offer
Base salary: $85,000-$110,000
- Car allowance: $550/month
- Full benefits package (medical, retirement, PTO)
