Quality Engineer
Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team! In this role, you'll ensure products meet the highest standards by collaborating across departments and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Description
- Develop a strong understanding of products, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
- Review customer, regulatory, and industry specifications; translate requirements into production-ready documentation.
- Partner with Sales, R&D, customers, and suppliers to clarify requirements and resolve quality issues.
- Support quality investigations, including internal nonconformances and customer returns.
- Assist global teams with quality and process matters.
- Support audits, customer visits, and supplier communications.
- Implement process controls, data collection methods, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain quality documentation (control plans, PFMEAs, inspection plans, etc.).
Profile
A successful Quality Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience (optics experience preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with measurement tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100 quality systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
