Director of Human Resources
The Director of Human Resources will lead all HR strategy and operations across two manufacturing plants, driving workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development. This is a high‑visibility leadership role that partners directly with plant leadership to support start‑up, expansion, and ongoing operations in a labor‑intensive environment.

Description
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business and plant objectives
- Lead HR operations for two sites, ensuring consistency, compliance, and workforce stability
- Supervise, develop, and mentor HR team members across locations
- Manage high‑volume recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning
- Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Ensure full compliance with U.S. employment laws and company policies
- Design and manage competitive compensation, benefits, and HR programs
- Build clear HR processes, management mechanisms, and organizational structures
- Partner with plant and senior leadership to support operational continuity and labor needs
- Oversee HR systems, payroll records, and employee files for accuracy
- Support foreign labor programs when applicable (EB‑5, L1, L2, etc.)
- Track key HR metrics and use data for decision making and planning
Profile
A successful Director of Human Resources should have:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (experience considered)
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in manufacturing HR leadership
- Multi‑site manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Expertise in high‑volume recruiting and frontline workforce management
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment laws & HR compliance
- Hands‑on, plant‑floor presence - not limited to office‑based HR
- Fluent in English & Spanish
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to flex schedule as needed for plant operations
