We're seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to lead the Human Resources department in Palo Alto. The successful candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, and the ability to foster a positive work environment.

Description

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Manage the recruitment and selection process in Palo Alto office
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
• Advise on employee relations issues
• Coach and manage one direct report

Profile

A successful Human Resources Manager should have:

• 5+ years experience in Human Resources, ideally in a legal setting (required)
• Bachelors degree (required)
• People oriented and results driven
• Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases
• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• In-depth knowledge of California labor law and HR best practices
• Ability to work onsite in Palo Alto 3-4 days a week
