HR Manager - Hebron, KY
The HR Manager will serve as the sole HR leader onsite, partnering closely with plant leadership to drive a positive employee experience while ensuring HR practices align with company policies and regulatory requirements. While payroll and benefits administration are handled by corporate, the HR Manager will be fully responsible for all other HR operations, including employee relations, training and development, policy implementation, performance management, and talent initiatives.

This US based manufacturing company specializes in firearm and outdoor entertainment products. They recently aquired a new location in Hebron, KY and the team is looking for an HR Manager to join the manufacturing site.
Description
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for all employees and supervisors at the Hebron facility
- Manage employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and coach managers on disciplinary actions and conflict resolution
- Lead and support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and annual reviews
- Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and compliance practices in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Design and deliver training and development programs to support employee growth and operational excellence
- Partner with site leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives
- Support hiring processes in coordination with the corporate recruiting team
- Promote a strong company culture that aligns with organizational values and encourages employee engagement and retention
- Maintain employee records, support safety initiatives, and assist with audits or reporting as needed
Profile
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, employee relations best practices, and performance management strategies
- Proven ability to influence, lead, and build trust at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Experience in firearms, defense, or similarly regulated industries is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; HR certification (e.g.,SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
