Our client is looking for an HR Business Partner with a focus on recruiting to join their HR team.

This HRBP/Recruiter will lead the charge in corporate recruiting while shaping HR strategies. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, this is your opportunity to build innovative processes from the ground up, leveraging retail expertise to create a best-in-class talent function.

The role is 5 days a week on-site at the corporate office in Brooklyn, not far from the Jamaica, Queens area. Free parking provided.

Our client is a well-established, multi-location retail brand with a strong presence in the fashion and apparel industry. Known for its fast-paced corporate environment, it is undergoing a major transformation to modernize its talent acquisition and HR processes.

You'll work side by side with leadership, gaining visibility and influence beyond traditional recruiting as a trusted advisor on workforce planning and strategic priorities. This is your chance to build something new - introducing best practices, technology, and innovative sourcing methods.

Candidates MUST have prior experience recruiting in the retail space (fashion/apparel, CPG, home/lifestyle, electronics/technology). Candidates without retail experience will not be considered.

This position is five days a week on-site in Brooklyn, in the greater Jamaica, Queens area.



Description

  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to source qualified candidates.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and ensure accurate documentation of recruitment activities.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on hiring trends in the retail industry.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies.

Profile

A successful HR Business Partner Recruiter should have:

  • A strong understanding of recruitment practices and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Experience working in the retail industry.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and hiring managers.
  • A proactive and organized approach to managing multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
