Head of HR - Up to $120K - North Yarmouth, ME
Join a mission-driven organization based just outside North Yarmouth, Maine, as Head of Human Resources. You'll work directly with the CEO to shape talent strategy, develop leaders, and drive key initiatives across two U.S. locations-all while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace.

Description
The Head of HR will report directly to the CEO and lead the full spectrum of human resources functions, serving as both a strategic advisor and hands-on partner to the leadership team.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Developing and executing an HR strategy aligned with business goals
- Leading recruitment strategy, onboarding, and talent planning initiatives
- Coaching and mentoring a small HR team while partnering cross-functionally
- Driving culture-building, employee engagement, and leadership development programs
- Overseeing compensation structure, benefits administration, and compliance
- Implementing performance management practices and succession planning
- Advising leadership on organizational design and workforce planning
- Maintaining and evolving HR policies and procedures in alignment with company values
Profile
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including both strategic and tactical roles
- Proven success leading or significantly influencing HR functions within a fast-paced organization
- Prior exposure to a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
- People leadership experience (direct or indirect) with a coaching-focused approach
- Ability to influence at all levels, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in areas such as performance management, comp planning, HRIS selection, and org design
- Bachelor's degree and HR certification preferred
- Willingness to travel monthly (then quarterly) within the U.S., with occasional international travel
