HR Business Partner - $95k-$125k base - 30% Travel
The HR Business Partner will support a large employee population within a global, matrixed company. The role owns the full employee lifecycle, from hiring through performance, and employee relations, while also advising executives and influencing strategy.
This position reports to the Tempe, AZ site five days a week. 30% travel is REQUIRED.
Candidates must have HRBP experience in a large organization as well as people management experience. Union experience is highly preferred.

This HR Business Partner will play a highly visible and impactful role supporting a complex, high-volume operation of roughly 800 employees across multiple functions. The core of the employee population is within a large call center environment, however the HRBP will also support a 300-person field organization across West Coast. This creates a dynamic employee base spanning hourly and salaried populations, operational and corporate functions, and both centralized and distributed teams.
This is a true end-to-end HRBP role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The individual will be deeply embedded in the business, driving initiatives across the entire employee lifecycle - from hiring and onboarding through engagement, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and offboarding.The HRBP will also lead a small team, so prior people management experience is a must.
This position is FIVE DAYS A WEEK ON-SITE in Tempe with about 30% travel required. Travel may involve supporting field teams, conducting investigations, delivering training, or partnering with regional leadership on-site. Given the geographic footprint and variability in business demands, flexibility and strong prioritization skills are essential.

- Analyze HR data and provide actionable insights to improve organizational performance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Profile
A successful HR Business Partner should have:
- A strong background in human resources within large organizations in logistics, manufacturing, distribution, or other similar industries.
- PRIOR PEOPLE MANAGEMENT IS A MUST.
- Exposure to a union environment is strongly preferred.
- Proven expertise in employee relations, talent management, and HR policy implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
