HR Generalist/Manager - 4 days onsite NYC - $90k-$110k
We are seeking a dynamic, people-focused HR Generalist to join our growing Human Resources team. This role will report to an HRBP and manage an HR Coordinator. The ideal candidate will bring strong HR operations experience, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for creating a best-in-class employee experience through thoughtful engagement and events. $90k-$110k + bonus and great benefits. Located in NYC, 4 days a week onsite.

We are seeking a dynamic, people-focused HR Generalist to join our growing Human Resources team. This role will report to an HRBP and manage an HR Coordinator. $90k-$110k + bonus and great benefits. Located in NYC, 4 days a week onsite.
Description
Serve as a key support to the HRBP, helping manage day-to-day operations across the employee lifecycle
Manage and mentor an HR Coordinator, delegating tasks and providing guidance
Own and execute employee engagement initiatives, including monthly events, culture programming, and company-wide celebrations (e.g., summer/holiday parties)
Lead onboarding experience and orientation logistics; collaborate with hiring managers to develop tailored onboarding plans
Support offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and consistent employee experience
Manage engagement surveys, learning and development initiatives, and communications related to HR programs
Partner on HRIS data integrity and reporting, including use of Excel (VLOOKUPs a must)
Conduct compensation research and assist with salary benchmarking
Profile
Bachelor's degree required; SHRM certification a plus
4+ years of progressive HR experience in a corporate, fast-paced environment
Prior people management experience
Demonstrated experience planning and executing corporate events
Proven ability to lead initiatives and drive process improvement
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP required; pivot tables a plus)
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a high-volume, high-touch environment
Job Offer
$90k-$110k + 10% bonus potential (depending on experience)
