HR Administrative Assistant
As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department with various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes.
Client Details
Our client is a nonprofit organization that provides free civil legal assistance to low-income people in New York City. The community-based organization serves more than 100,000 clients annually.
Description
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, preparing documents and managing correspondences
- Support HR team with onboarding, background checks and references
- Assist with reports for audits and compliance reviews
- Support employee relations activities
- Conduct data collection and analysis for HR metrics reporting
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives
Profile
- Experience with HRIS systems such as UltiPro, Workday, Taleo, Kronos, or similar platforms
- Strong data collection and analysis skills
- This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in various HR functions and contribute to the overall success of the HR department
- Ability to Commute the Financial District of Manhattan
- Heavy focus on: data entry/spreadsheet management/HRIS- queries/new hires entries/file management.
- Responding to hr help desk inquiries
- Understands a unionized environment
- Will reference collective bargaining agreement regularly
