Grants Administrative Assistant
As the Grants Administrative Assistant, you will support the Officer of the Chair and support with administrative tasks. You will assist with grants administrations, managing calenders and schedules, assist with presentations, and meetings materials.
This role is an one-year contract role.

Description
- Manage a wide range of administrative tasks, including events management and logistics support
- Support staff in the grant-making process, communicate with grantees on the proposal submission process, assist with grant record preparation for compliance, monitor grant making processes, payments and timely reporting
- Support senior staff in the higher education team and the Office of the Chair with administrative functions, including coordinating schedules, planning complex stakeholder meetings/events, and researching/arranging logistics
- Serve as a communications liaison between the senior staff in the Office of the Chair and Office of the President, and the company as a whole, especially regarding operations, exercising considerable discretion and working under limited supervision
- Generate and prepare a variety of materials in advance of routine and special engagements, preparing briefing materials, presentations, and reports as needed
- Take notes in meetings and support project management as required
- Process and oversee progress of consultant contracts
- Contribute to budget preparation, implementation, and monitoring
Profile
- Previous experience with administrative/operational experience
- Proven experience in collaborating, engaging, and supporting multi-country stakeholders
- Prior experience with grant writing and/or administration
- Demonstrates commitment to core values of humility, commitment, collaboration, respect, inclusivity, and integrity
- Willingness to adjust working hours to include calls and discussions with colleagues and vendors located in various geographic regions
- Ability and skill to demonstrate a change mindset as well as plan, execute and monitor activities during times of change whilst keeping performance levels up
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds
