Sr. Manager, HR Operations and Systems - Banking - $150k-$170k
As the VP, HR Operations & Systems, you will lead the strategy, optimization, and daily operations of our HR systems, data, and processes. This role is ideal for a systems-savvy, process-minded HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. You'll report to the Head of HR and work cross-functionally with Payroll, Finance, Legal, and IT to deliver scalable, data-informed HR solutions.
Hybrid schedule - 2 days onsite in Manhattan. $150k-$170k + bonus and excellent benefits.

Description
Lead HR operations including employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, job changes, audits, compliance reporting)
Own and optimize the HRIS ecosystem, ensuring data integrity, automation, and a seamless user experience across platforms
Act as the subject matter expert in Cognos, driving advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboard development
Partner with Finance and HR leadership on headcount reporting, workforce planning, compensation analytics, and organizational design
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement operational efficiencies across HR systems and workflows
Ensure data compliance with internal audit, SOX, and regulatory requirements
Manage and mentor a small team of HR operations and systems professionals
Serve as a liaison to IT, vendors, and third-party platforms to ensure functionality and integration
Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and data governance policies
Profile
8+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on HR operations and systems
Demonstrated expertise in Cognos for reporting and data analysis-must have
Strong background in HRIS platforms (Workday, SuccessFactors, UKG, etc.)
Excellent understanding of data privacy, compliance, and regulatory standards
Proven track record of leading process optimization initiatives within HR
Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
Experience working in a financial services, banking, or highly regulated environment preferred
Bachelor's degree required; HR or systems-related certifications a plus
